Tenant Move-In

Move-In inspection

The purpose of the move-in inspection is to document the condition of
the rental unit at the time of move-in and to assure the tenant that
any necessary repairs will be done.

Insurance

It is recommended that all tenants should obtain their own insurance.
The landlord is not liable for any losses that occur due to fire, water
damage, theft or other causes. Tenants are also liable for any
damage to the apartment that is caused due to the
negligence of the tenant. (i.e. damage to flooring due to tenant
overflowing their bathtub)

Service Connections

Be sure to switch the utilities and other services in your name before
your move-in date. If you are not sure of which services to switch, refer to your lease (clause #6) or call our office at (613) 523-0323 and we will be able to assist you. Your utility start date should be the same date of your tenancy start date. Below is the contact information for some of local utility and service company providers:
